Crossovers Pro Shop at Madison Ice Arena - Josh Carney
  • Sharpens all levels of figure skates blades and hockey skates 
  • Offers a long term rental program for good quality Jackson Mystiq and Jackson Freestyle figure skates
  • A variety of Jackson figure skates for sale in-stock.
  • Special orders a variety of skates to fit most needs and will also custom fit blades to suit skating goals.
  • Blade mounting, heat baking skates, and punching boots available.
  • Regular Hours: 4:30pm-8pm Mon, Tues, Wed and 9am-2pm Sat, Sun (subject to change)
 How to get skates sharpened 
  • Bring skates to Crossovers pro-shop during business hours or at appointment time. 
  • NEW!!! Leave skates in the bin in the FSCM Club room any Thursday night to be returned Friday

  • Sharpens all levels of figure skates
  • Measures and fits Edeas, has large selection in stock
    • Contact Jan directly to arrange a fitting for Edea Skates
  • Sharpens in Madison every 4-6 weeks. 
  • How to get Skates Sharpened
  • Upcoming sharpening date: Sent via email to members takes place at the Schellpfeffer home (5 min from MIA) 1117 Velvet Leaf Dr, Madison.    
    • Drop off at 1117 Velvet Leaf Dr during the dates and time of sharpening. 
    • Put skates (with name, money, and a note of where/when needed inside the skates) in the designated bin at the rink by the date indicated on the email sent. 
    • Skates not picked up during the date/time of sharpening will be returned to the rink at the time indicated 
  • Sharpening Cost $25 (cash or check made out to Jan Wolosek)

Bladesmith Skate Sharpening - Laura LeFleur
  • Co-owned by local figure skater and her husband
  • Focuses solely on sharpening figure skates
  • Sharpening Cost $20 cash or $21 via Venmo
  • Sharpening by Appointment:  via text 608-609-5279
  • Location: We sharpen from our home on the near east side of Madison.
Edgeworks –  Aislinn and Bronwyn Hutchison
  • Sharpens all levels  of figure skate blades and hockey skates
  • Can remove and mount blades (temporary and permanent), bake skates, and punch boots
